National LEGO Day (ages 6-12)
January 28 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
On January 28, 1958, the patent application was filed for the original Lego brick system. 63 years later, there are over 400 billion LEGO bricks in the world. If you could stack them all together, they would make a tower 2,386,065 miles tall (that’s ten times higher than the moon)! That’s 63 years of creativity–definitely something worth celebrating. Join in the celebration; register below to pick up a LEGO figure and then create your own adventure using any building materials you can find. Join us via Facebook Live for some inspiration, then take photos of your LEGO figure in action to share with the library!
