While CGPL's youth librarians and schoolteachers everywhere may have mixed emotions...it's true. The 2024-25 school year is looming close. Peruse our list of picture books that tackle pertinent topics such as being confident, doing your best, and showing kindness to others at school.

This year, the theme of our Summer Reading Program is ADVENTURE! There is no easier way to adventure anywhere, anytime, in the world than through books. We've compiled a list of children's fiction books that take place in countries around the world.
